Dana, Inc. – Manufacturing Facility

In 2022, Dana selected Program Solutions Group as Owner Representative to oversee the conversion of a previous warehouse facility and office space into a new manufacturing facility.

The existing 210,000 square foot facility in Auburn Hills, Michigan, supports 180,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space for stamping presses, furnaces, powder coat lines and product assembly lines. The entire production area was upgraded with polished concrete floors, new lighting, refreshed paint, and new HVAC and electrical systems. The remainder of the facility consists of office space for the plant team, a cafeteria and locker room for shop floor employees and other ancillary office spaces.

The project also incorporated the design and installation of a brand new substation dedicated to serve this facility as additional equipment and production lines come on board.

The facility is currently pursuing LEED Certification for this project.
