Program Solutions Group has completed numerous projects for Metalsa through the years at both their Hopkinsville and Elizabethtown Kentucky facilities.

The Stamping addition was a fast-tracked, 47,000 sq. ft. high-bay expansion using a conventional steel structure with insulated metal siding panels. Inside saw the installation of (2) 50 ton cranes, (2) 3,000 ton press pits, and a tunnel system for scrap conveyors, process line foundations, and a coil and die storage areas.

The Manufacturing addition was a fast-tracked, 91,400 sq. ft. expansion to house an additional manufacturing line. The structure was a pre-engineered metal building, and the build-out included 2 CMM rooms with isolated foundations, customized de-stacker pit construction, and installation of all process utilities and final connections.

The E-Coat #3 Expansion was a fast-tracked 68,000 sq. ft. high-bay expansion for new a new E-Coat line, with a 70’ clear height inside the facility.  It included pits and trenches for the equipment, and a new 15kv electrical service.

The Line #6 Expansion was a fast-tracked 125,000 sq. ft. manufacturing area expansion and 13,000 sq. ft. two-story office expansion.  The project also included a new 500 space parking lot with an underground tunnel, a new “uniform” building, and 15kv electrical service.
