Sisters of St. Francis — Maria Hall

The Sisters of St. Francis selected Program Solutions Group as Construction Manager for the planned renovations at Maria Hall as a continuance of the Regina Hall Program. Maria Hall will be designated as permanent apartment style living quarters for the local Sisters of St. Francis. Maria Hall is a three story structure encompassing 26,000 sq. ft. with a partial basement that was originally constructed in the early 1960’s.

The current program will include an addition on the West side of the building to serve as the new main entrance, and will include a new elevator for convenient centralized access to all 3 floors of the building. The existing elevator will be modernized and will only provide service between the 1st floor and the basement in it’s current location. The balance of the project scope will include a complete interior demolition and selective exterior / structural demolition with new curtain wall façade renovations to match the new finishes at just completed Regina Hall. The interior layout will include (18) private rooms with private baths. Much attention will be given to the function and layout of the open living rooms, dining rooms, kitchens and general community rooms to encourage interaction and a sense of community among the residents.
