Sloan Museum of Discovery

Sloan Museum of Discovery selected Program Solutions Group as Owner Representative for this extensive multi-year project that saw the facility re-opened to the public in July of 2022.

The scope of work for this $30 million renovation and expansion project included a renovated Flint History Gallery, a hands-on Discovery Hall and an Early Childhood Gallery. Dedicated spaces for traveling exhibits was also included into the new footprint. Natural daylighting was incorporated into the renovated spaces, including the new entry lobby and Science Center in order to dramatically open the space up.

At project completion, the new building is twice the size of the original, spanning 107,000 total square feet.
