Our Lady of Lourdes – New Church

Our Lady of Lourdes selected Program Solutions Group as the construction manager for their new Church and Parish Center. The 6,555 sq. ft. Parish Center features a Life Center, choir room, commercial kitchen restrooms and utility and storage rooms.

Meanwhile the 6,800 sq. ft. church features underground hvac ductwork, insulated roof panels and a vaulted 2 story tall nave with exposed glue-lam framing. The main ridge beam was 12” wide, by 54” tall by 71’-0” long and almost 11,000 pounds! At the time it was the largest glu-lam beam ever manufactured by the supplier in Idaho.

The church also featured the installation of a pipe organ salvaged from an existing installation at a church in New Jersey, and the restoration and reinstallation of five mouth-blown stained glass windows from the former Holy Rosary Church in East Toledo that were salvaged when that Parish closed.
