Sisters of St. Francis — Regina Hall
The Sisters of St. Francis selected Program Solutions Group as Construction Manager for the major renovation of Regina Hall in the summer of 2012. Regina Hall is a two story structure encompassing 24,000 sq. ft. that was originally constructed in the 1960’s. The project scope included a complete interior demolition and selective exterior/structural demolition. With careful management the project was delivered on budget and ahead of schedule.
While Lourdes University will occupy the 1st floor, the 2nd floor is designated as temporary living quarters for Sisters when in town for a retreat or other visitors. This area is comprised of (19) single occupancy suites, (1) double occupancy suite and (1) fully ADA compliant suite. Each of the new units has a private Bathroom, with a shower and/or bathtub. The original layout in the “infirmary” area was kept intact for historical purposes and this section of the building utilizes a community shower and bath area. Each section of the building has inviting community areas, kitchens and a common laundry area to encourage a community setting and interaction between the occupants. There is also a designated Prayer Room to allow for a private area outside of the visitors suite.
